If you don’t want to fool around with trying to figure out which individual parts will work best for you just use the application tables to find the DJM kit number for your truck. Complete kits have EVERYTHING you need to install a full suspension drop kit. No surprises, no batteries not included moments, just a complete kit. You only have to decide which kit is for you. There are usually more than one choice of drops, say you have a 1989 Chevy S-10, you have seven different drops to choose from, but you want a 3”front and 4” rear drop and your on a budget, you would might choose the coil spring/lowering block combo because of price, and the part number would be DJM2321-3/4. One part number gets you everything. That was a simple example, lets say you want to lower your brand new HD 6”in the front and 8” in the rear, that’s a lot of parts, CA2699U (upper control arms), CA2699L-6D (lower control arms drivers side), CA2699L-6P (lower control arms passenger side), CM2699 (transmission cross member), FK2699-8 (rear flip kit), Whew! yips! Well ok, lets catch our breath and make this easy, order DJM2699-6/8, all done and now you can forget about it. Wait, I need shocks, what now, easy just add an S (for shocks) to the end of the part number and like magic, a full set of shocks will be added to your order. To use our examples the S-10 would be DJM2321-3/4S this would add 2 - 1315’s and 2 - 2400’s shock absorbers to that kit, the HD would be DJM2699-6/8S which would add 2 - 1415’s and 1 - 1509 + 1 - 1800 shock absorbers to that kit. It’s just that easy.
